Rockefeller Scores $1.9 Billion AUM Boston Team

The addition of Knowlton, Knowlton, & Larsen creates Rockefeller’s first private wealth team in Boston.

Rockefeller continues to score top-producing wirehouse teams.

Friday evening, Rockefeller Capital Management announced it had secured a Boston team managing $1.9 billion in assets under management from UBS Financial Services.

The five-person team known as Knowlton, Knowlton, & Larsen was part of UBS’ Pinnacle Council, a membership program that recognizes the top 2% of financial advisors within the organization. 

Managing directors Laurence Knowlton, his son Griffin Knowlton, and Wyatt Larson head the team and will help Rockefeller expand further into the Boston area. Rockefeller has a family office in the city. 

Joining the advisors are vice presidents and analysts Jennifer Pearson and Sophia Morgan. The team will report to Michael Parker, managing director of Rockefeller’s Northeast division.

Rockefeller Capital Management oversees more than $75 billion in client assets and has recruited 13 teams year to date. Greg Fleming, CEO of Rockefeller Capital Management, speaking at a recent Bloomberg News event, said he is looking to expand to as many as 20 more cities in the future, including Seattle and Nashville and in Colorado and the Midwest.

“We go to cities and locations where there are clients that fit our client profile and where we can find elite financial advisers who are serving those clients,” he said.
