$120 Million Seacoast Financial Network Joins LPL Financial

The New Hampshire-based financial services firm moves to the independent broker/dealer from O.N. Equity Sales Company.

Seacoast Financial Network will join LPL Financial’s broker/dealer and corporate registered investment advisor platforms, the independent broker/dealer announced today. Seacoast, which is located in North Hampton, N.H, joins from O.N. Equity Sales Company. The firm’s financial advisors include Julie Welch and Dan Goland.

Goland began his career in financial services after retiring from the U.S. Army as a major in 2000, and he became an independent financial advisor with Seacoast in 2012. Goland and Welch are joined by team members Meagan MacKinnon and Chrystal Goland, and the firm reported they had served about $120 million of client brokerage and advisory assets, according to LPL. Seacoast advises individuals on retirement and estate planning, investments, and risk management.

Seacoast Financial Network is the most recent team to join LPL Financial. On Feb. 25, Intellectual Capital Group, which includes financial advisors Michael Bonevento, James Costabile and Craig Laday, joined LPL Financial from Ameriprise Financial. ICG reported about $800 million of advisory assets and client brokerage, according to LPL.

LPL Financial also announced that Savers Investment Services joined LPL’s b/d and corporate RIA platforms on Feb. 21. The investment service is offered at Savers Bank, which is headquartered in Southbridge, Mass., and has six locations in the state. Savers has served approximately $100 million in client brokerage and asset advisement, according to LPL. Savers moved to LPL Financial from Infinex.

“We welcome Seacoast Financial Network to LPL and are proud to be able to support them and their independent practice," said Rich Steinmeier, LPL Financial managing director and the divisional president of business development. "As the leader in the independent market, we will continue to leverage our position to be a value driver for our advisors. We can do that through our scale, helping advisors manage their practices cost-effectively and efficiently, and by investing in technology and capabilities that can help them be successful by serving their clients’ needs. We look forward to a long-term partnership with Julie, Dan and their team.”
