Anonymous, have you ever been wrong? About anything?
You can’t be wrong if you are anonymous.

He is actually DEAD wrong with regards to Jones & illustrations.  The last two Hartford policies I sent in required signed illustrations before the application process could start.  So yes, we need them.  Of course he’ll drown me in text to make his anonymous point…

It’s beer o’clock!

This will piss you off.  I'm not wrong.  I don't think that I've ever commented as to whether Jones requires a signed illustration.   I have no idea what Jones requires or doesn't require.  My point is that an illustration will always be wrong.  Therefore, the only thing that you can do with it is make a promise that the numbers will be higher or lower.  Illustrations are legally necessary whenever there are unguaranteed parts of the contract, but they aren't legally required until the policy is being put in force.   I believe that the only time that an illustration is needed upfront is if it is a replacement case and an illustration is used to help sell the policy.
Does not make me mad.  I have no idea what you are talking about half of the time. Prob. the reason I try to avoid insurance.  All I know is the Hartford required me to submit a signed illustration on the last two policies I submitted.  They were not replacements.

To follow up with this thread. I finished this account. $18,000 for the month of Sept and I posted $30,000 today, first day of Oct selling month… The insurance illustrations ended up being around $11,000 Gross. It had $78,000 Cash Value, not $50,000. Well see if the policy comes through.

Windy, I really need to ask you about this post.  You are always defending yourself and saying that you don't make every thread about you.  All that you say that you are doing is responding to others.    With that in mind, why did you resurrect a thread that was dead for three weeks just to post your numbers?   At least be honest and simply admit that you enjoy making it all about you.
Just because I do not yet know what the commission payouts are, doesn't mean I don't know what I am doing otherwise. It's an exchange from a $100,000 face value policy, that has $50,000 cash value. I have been told multiple times that you get 70% of the cash value or "investable" portion. Thats not coming from me, just what i've heard. Enough bashing on me advising people, I already stated that i just started adding insurance to my business. Just like the rest of you did, when you started.
Even if it had $78k cash value, how on earth does a $100,000 permanent policy produce $11k of GDC??  Is the client 80?  Rated Table T??

Rateups on a single-premium life won't increase commission.

I don’t enjoy making it all about me and thats being honest. I was pumped about posting that large of a day as everyone of you would, so i thought i’d follow up on this thread to let you guys know how it ended up. That’s really all. If you guys don’t care, why are you posting back. There were about 20 pages on this thread about it, so i thought maybe someone would want to know how it ended up. That’s merely all. I’ll admit, sometimes i do throw my numbers out there to piss a few of you off, but about 99% of the time i am just trying to defend myself, and you all know that. Of course, you will post partial quotes trying to make me look like i’m just bragging and thats fine.

The biggest problem is that most of you just don’t want to believe that anyone can do that well. So anytime I post anything, i’m automatically called a liar and blah blah. Even if it has nothing to do with me. Maybe all the threads wouldn’t end up about me, if after my comment to a thread it didnt end with 28 pages of bashing me. If you were in my Region, you would absolutely know that i haven’t lied about anything i have ever said on here.

Exactly. Someone PM me his name.
According to Facebook, he's a fan of Michael Jackson. Pretty sweet. Do his clients know how much of a POS he is?? I'm calling his BOA tomorrow and asking for an appointment with Mr. Windy.

Windy, stop caring so much about whether people believe you or not and you won’t have to spend your time being defensive and making everything about you.

When it comes to posting numbers, only two things will happen.  1) People won't believe you or 2) People won't care if the numbers are real or make believe.  The people who don't believe you aren't worth convincing and the others don't care, so stop wasting your time trying to get people believe that you are a stud.  Based upon your numbers, you are a stud, but keep that information to yourself where it belongs.
Sep 25, 2009 11:28 am

Agreed.  I’m fairly new here, but it just doesn’t seem professional to post your numbers and poke fun at others like we are in middle school (prepared for being shot down immediately by those on this board who are more childish---- “shutup newb” “you haven’t done sh&% until you produce” “Talk to me in six months”)
