Scenes from the 2023 WealthManagement.com Industry Awards

The ninth annual "Wealthies" Awards were held on Sept. 7 at the Ziegfeld Theater in New York City.

More than 650 people from all corners of the wealth management universe packed the Ziegfeld Theater in Midtown Manhattan to attend the ninth annual WealthManagement.com Industry Awards gala, also known as the Wealthies, on Sept. 7.

The black-tie event featured a cocktail reception, three-course dinner and open bar and served to honor the outstanding achievements by companies, organizations and individuals that support financial advisor success.

Ninety-one awards were handed out, representing 80 companies, among 253 finalists. In all, Wealthies judges—an independent panel of industry leaders—received more than 1,000 nominations for this year's awards.

During the ceremony, the awards program also recognized the work of the Foundation For Financial Planning to bring quality pro bono financial advice to the most financially-vulnerable and their families—including wounded veterans, domestic violence survivors, struggling single parents and patients with life-threatening diseases.

Once again, individual awards were given to up-and-comers at RIA firms.

"This year’s winners hail from different types of firms and businesses, yet they all share a common trait—they are the architects behind the programs, tools and platforms that empower financial advisors to grow their businesses, enhance client service, and elevate the financial prospects and quality of life for millions of investors,” said David Armstrong, director of editorial strategy and operations, Wealth Management Group – Informa Connect, and the master of ceremonies for the event.
