Please help me sort out this situation:  My boss is a rep and I am his assistant (non-commissioned.)  It's just the two of us at the office.  

My ex and I are both clients of my boss.  I recently brought in business because of a court-ordered issue that stated my ex and I had to mutually agree on how and where to invest this money, otherwise we'd have to go back to court to decide.   We both agreed to let my boss invest it.  We have a very amicable divorce. 

Can I even expect a small spiff or bonus because my boss made a commission on investing this money?
