Hi guys!

Is anyone working for W.M. as PFR?

What do you think of the company?

Thank you.

No WaMu's in this part of the country, but they seem to have a good rep for a bank. What is a PFR?

Hi Giff!

Thank you for the message.

PFR stands for Personal Financial Representative. WM is based on west coast and they just moved to East ( at least New York) like 4-5 years ago.

PFR opens checking accounts, CDs, loans, mortgages(?) etc.

NO INVESTMENT OR INSURANCE AT ALL.  Those services are referred to a "specialist".

Yeah, he does that, but they also told me that I need to get the insurance license. And they have a minimum requirement to meet selling the insurance. And if the amount that the customer wants to invest is big I have to send him to the advisor.

Nick,

If you're looking to get into the securities business, my opinion is, this looks like a crappy way to do that...
