Hello all, I recently had an interview with EJ and go in for my ‘information session’ with the FA on Friday.

I have read around on here for a few days and I'm pretty new to everything. I see people tossing around "production" quotes and then asset quotes. Is Production the amount of new accounts you add or is it the amount of commissions/fees you recieved from accounts for the year?   Also why when I see people quote total account assets do I see some people put 5mm or 5mn..just typos or do they mean different things? Obviously 1 m is for million, whats the other for! lol, sorry to be such a newb.   TIA   ~Malcolm

The Roman numeral for 1000 is M and was once commonly used as such. So traditionally, MM is used for million. It is something that is seen less and less today.
