Greetings! I am a new independent IA/RIA and this is my first post. Thank you in advance for reading/ I have several questions:

If someone hires me to be their IA and we agree on a trade, how do you confirm that is what the client wants?
Should you have them send you an email or do you confirm with an email or what…?
Does anyone have a suitability guideline type of grid or chart that more or less matches the type of client and their income and objectives and so forth with types of investments?
What are some good low fee etfs to consider?
Bonds-how do you even begin to pick those?
Stocks, again, how do you know when to pick a small, mid, or large cap?

I understand the idea of large cap and stability and small cap and potential for gain… I understand when people want growth… I was just wandering how others approach these day to day things.

Thank you!
