Nationwide Financial or First Command

Can anyone please give me their 2 cents on these 2 oppurtunities. Are these 2 even worth looking to move to? It seems as if the Nationwide route is a similar to a bank channel in the sense that you get referrels thrown your way from other business products. First Command I have no clue but just saw them on a job board.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Don't know about Nationwide. First Command is a crappy organization that has ripped off our service men and women for years.
First Command is awful. I live in a Navy town, and I have heard horror stories (and seen the filth they pass off as investments). They are famous for those stupid Fidelity Destiny plans, which are like a weird hybrid mutual fund investment programs with really high commissions. Very bizarre. FC has been sued many times over the years for how they take advantage of servicemen.
Nationwide is primarily insurance-based.
I have been with NW Financial for the last four years (albeit not in that role) and it is the best Corporation I have ever worked for. I don't know about your specific role, but NW as a company is GREAT! Their slogan is that they are on your side, and they really are on your side as an employee. They really treat their employees well. If you are a decent producer for the agency you go to you can't beat NW. I don't know anything about 1st Command, but have not heard good things about them.
I highly recommend NW. Best of luck!
I live just down the road from a huge base. I would never provide like products to America's best.
Yeah in the last 4 weeks I've been approached by two people who said to me "So and So said I should talk to you since you are in the financial services industry"
One worked for Primerica
The other from First Command.
I'm thinking to myself, how can I stay positive for their sakes.
