Woo hoo, got my 7 couple of weeks ago, and I just passed the 66 this morning. Off to KYC I go.

I never thought I'd do door knocking again, but here I am. Came back full circle. At least this time, I won't have to scrape off paint chips from the prospect's house to convince them that they need to get their house painted.

You sound perfect for the job, best of luck.

off to the school of hard knocks starting tomorrow, now that I’m done with KYC. Wish me luck.

Spoke to my friend who started out at Morgan Stanley and when I told him about the Jones's way of prospecting, he was shocked. He thought he had it hard cold calling and all. Well, he doing good now ever since he moved to BofA, and just in time, a few seasoned guys retired, got handed down $15M all together.   Like the old addage goes, one man's trash is other man's treasure. He built that book up to almost $70M now, within about a year and a half. Very impressive and hopefully I can achieve that success.

good luck - I heard from a guy who recently left Jones. before he left, he was told that there is no better time to be in financial services and no better time to be working for Edward Jones.

I’m picking up your sarcasm.

It’s funny, they said the same thing to another guy I know who was put on goals… not such a good time for him to be at Jones.
