Hi Everyone,

I am currently about to graduate from undergrad in a few months. I was wondering what are your views on father son teams in pwm? Are they usually successful? I am debating on joining another firm as a CSA for a year or two to get more expierence before joining my father either at his firm, or have him cut a deal and move over to the firm I am working at. What are the best firms to start at on the street? I am debating between MS, UBS, ML. Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks

You will end up with your Dad, trust me. People kill for a book of business like that (assuming your Dad is successful). It may seem nice to go out on your own and stake your claim but in this business if you have a set up like that you take it.
