Hey guys I need advice.

Well some reason it posted without posting everything, and it won’t let me write anything long because it says something about spam filter. 21 years old in NYC, 7 & 63 since November 2013. Can’t close nothing over the phone, not even a closed door. Struggling a lot, been through 2 firms (1st got shut down due to net cap requirements) within 4 months of me being licensed. Was at 2nd firm for 6 months and only opened like 3 accounts over phone and made no money because I was not capable of raising them.

I can’t believe I have to keep writing it in segments, this is annoying. Anyways, like I said I’m really having trouble opening accounts over the phone, is that side of the industry dead? I’m thinking about going to a place like JP or ML but all I hear is horror stories, even on this own website. Really confused on what to do guys. Please keep in mind I would be doing 400-500 dials a day, I worked super hard, 12-14 hours a day + Saturdays. Am I just a terrible salesman or what? Please don’t tell me this isn’t for you because I’m going to keep trying until I die. I came to the street to make money and I’m going to find a way. I’ve been reading a lot lately as well, Think & Grow Rich, 48 laws etc etc. Any advice or feedback would be great, thanks a lot gents.

You ask a very important question! I’m not the person to answer the question since I just got licensed last week. There is one awesome book that you may add to your reading; “How to master the art of selling” by Tom Hopkins. When looking at your post I notice that you are using just one approach, cold-calling by telephone. Is there any way you could find face-to-face forums where you can meet people? My coach recommends the following sequence; Get acquainted by listening and asking questions. Share a great short story of how someone, maybe you, was helped by your products. Ask, “would it be worth 30 minutes of your time to find out how this might help you?” Set an appointment.
