I’ve been a loyal reader of all of your posts.  And have used this forum to peek inside the heads of all of the rookies/ wannabe’s and veterans.
 
The advice given and topics dicussed have all been very helpful and insightful.  Which is why I decided to take a serious look into this careerfield over a year and a half ago.

And…  As of a few days ago, I’ve passed the Series 7!  I got a 79% And I’m now studying for the 63 and will eventually begin classes for the state life insurance exam.  Wish me luck!

Thanks for the candid comments, realistic expectations, and continuous comical banter over my new chosen career.  Without the help of “maybeeeeee”, “Joedabrokr”, “puttrader”, “mikebutler”, “Indyone”, and the others who have given this “Rookies & Trainees” forum its unique way of disseminating advice and caveats, I don’t think I would have placed a very pragmatic light on my own conclusions of becoming an FA.

I will continue to read and ask for advice- you folks are invaluable.
