Hi my name is Lucas and I’m looking at becoming a financial advisor down the road. I’m going into my senior year of HS and plan on getting my BBA in Finance at the University of Alaska Anchorage, just a city away. My question is, because I want to serve my country and join the Alaska National Guard, should I search for a position that would give me some sort of experience in guiding people? They currently have open a HR entry level position I could start while in highschool that would allow me to guide careers and enhance payroll. Would this give me any experience? Note: I will be doing an internship as well at Edward Jones due to the Guard being a part time commitment. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
