What is a fair, good, great and 'knocking the ball out of the park" # for AUM after your first 12 months.

I want to gauge my performance.

Thanks,

Break it down by month...

fair-300,000/ mo =3,600,000/yr

good-400,000/mo=4,800,000/yr

great-500,000/mo-6,000,000/yr

This all depends on your situation.  If you have great contacts all of these number should be increased.  If you are young with no contacts this is what you should shoot for.  Just my 50 cents.

Depends on your firm and the products you’re selling.

When I evaluate candidates, $15M in 12 months is considered “top shelf”.

It really depends on what you’re selling, and what the firm says “counts” towards your AUM.

Give me a call and I’ll get you a figure.
