Any EJ’sers combinee cold calling with door knocking? Or is that a major sin.

Plenty of EDJ’ers cold call. Nobody at Jones has a problem with it.

Well, it will vary for everyone. But let’s say you have some businesses in your town, and will also do residential doorknocking…make business cold-calls during the morning, then ONLY doorknock from 4pm-7pm (unless you live in a retiree community, then you could doorknock during the day as well). Don’t bother doing residential anytime before 4pm, as not enough people are home to make it viable. You can also do residential doorknocking all day Saturday. That is probably the BEST day for residential (doorknocking or cold calling), as everyone is home.

As someone previously at Jones, this is probably some of the BEST advice you will receive.   If you can be consistant and hone your script to what works for you, you CAN be very successful. As stated many many times previously, the greatest battles in this industry take place between your ears. Win those, and win the game. Good luck, DC
