I'm a finance student, graduating soon and scheduled for my series 65 later this year. I'm curious though if I can run a blog that talks about personal finance and investments before I get my license?

I know the NASAA has stated that internet advice cannot "involve either effecting or attempting to effect transactions in securites, or the rendering of personalized investment advice  for compensation"

So, does that mean I can post an analysis of a stock on my blog as long as I'm not asking for compensation? Or would that still be 'attempting to effect transactions in securities' even if I don't explicitly recommend the stock, just give an objective analysis?
