I feel like something I have room for improvement on is asking my clients for referrals.  What has worked for some of all of you?

Do you have a formal account review process, in writing? If so, simply add it into your "account review checklist"

I've been refining this kind of stuff for years. I have goal setting sheets that are very unique, profiling, risk/suit, and a checklist for reviews that I use with morningstar workstation. This formal account review process is good compliance, good for business, and keeps you agenda/focused during these meetings.

If anyone else does this kind of work, let me know, would like to compare notes.

After being indy for one year, I also had a client appreciation event at a nearby banquet hall. Was a big success, and gave us some great exposure for our 3 person office.

Wow, I really like your ideas!  I don't have an acct review chxlist, but I will have to put something like that together.
