Just reading in my book (Dearborn). The section for “Selection of
Arbitrators” on PG 622 if you happen to have the same book. I’m a
little confused between the Public and Non-Public arbs… Non public
have to have been involved in commodities?? Where do they get the
public arbs from?? Or are the pubs similiar to a regular jury pool of
peers?

It's been awhile, but I don't think you'll have to know anything more specific than that non-publics have ties to the securities industry (not just commodities) and publics are everyone else...that's my recollection, but I don't even have my books anymore...

Anyone else?

Too much info. You don’t need it for the exam. Really, who cares where they get the arbitrators from…

That’s a flip reply.  Unless you’re writing the test questions, you don’t know that this question won’t show up in some form.  I saw questions just as seemingly insignificant when I prepped for and took the seven.
