Wells Fargo is currently a result of a 1998 merger between Wells Fargo & Company and Minneapolis-based Norwest Corporation. Wells Fargo handles investment products through its subsidiaries, Wells Fargo Investments, LLC and Wells Fargo Advisors, LLC as well as through national broker/dealer firms. Wells Fargo serves high-net-worth individuals through its private bank and family wealth group. Wells Fargo Bank currently employs over 232K people and has assets under management in their Asset Managment division, (WFAM) totalling $603 Billion.
