Ruth Mattson

RUTH MATTSON is a Partner at Vacovec, Mayotte, & Singer, LLP, in Newton, Massachusetts, where she provides estate planning and tax services for individuals and families, particularly families with international assets and multinational family members. She advises non-U.S. investors about purchasing U.S. real estate, and she advises U.S. persons about resolving their unreported foreign bank accounts.

Ruth is a frequent speaker and author on estate planning topics for Massachusetts Continuing Legal Education, the Massachusetts Bar Association, and other professional organizations around the country. 

Ruth received her J.D. from Temple University Beasley School of Law in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and her LL.M. from Boston University School of Law’s Graduate Tax Program.  She is a Lecturer at Boston University and is an active member of the Boston Estate Planning Council and the Society for Trusts and Estates Practitioners.
