Leslie Carter-Prall Named Regions Bank Head of Private Wealth Management

Carter-Prall replaces Kate Danella, who was named head of Strategic Planning and Corporate Development at Regions Bank.

Regions Bank on Thursday announced a number of changes in its executive ranks.

Kate Danella, who was head of Private Wealth Management, was named head of Strategic Planning and Corporate Development, reporting directly to CEO John Turner. Leslie Carter-Prall, the Private Wealth Management Central Region Executive, was named head of Private Wealth Management to fill Danella's role, reporting to Bill Ritter, head of Regions Wealth Management.

Carter-Prall joined Regions in 1991, serving previously as Area Wealth Executive for Private Wealth Management over Indiana and Illinois. In her new role, she will be responsible for leading the private wealth management team providing banking, trust and investment management services to affluent and high-net-worth individuals and families in Regions’15-state blueprint.

“We are fortunate to have a seasoned professional like Leslie Carter-Prall to lead the Private Wealth Management team,” Ritter said in a statement. “Leslie’s industry experience spans more than 25 years, and her background and strong leadership skills will support our efforts to meet our clients’ unique financial needs through personalized service and local expertise.”

Based in Birmingham, Ala., Regions manages $125 billion in assets, serving customers in the South, Midwest and Texas with consumer and commercial banking, wealth management and mortgage products.
