Harris Baltch to Head Dynasty Capital Strategies

Dynasty Financial Partners has hired Harris Baltch to head its Capital Strategies unit.

Dynasty Financial Partners has hired Harris Baltch as head of Dynasty Capital Strategies, where he will be responsible for customizing, underwriting and creating capital solutions for clients.

Dynasty Capital Strategies is a specialized financing program that provides liquidity options for RIAs to start up, expand and scale their businesses.

“Innovative capital solutions can support a variety of strategic growth opportunities that have long been sought after by RIAs, but have historically been challenged by a high cost, onerous covenants and lots of paperwork,” Baltch said in a statement.

“We are delighted to welcome Harris to Dynasty and I am confident our Dynasty Capital Strategies initiatives, under Harris’ leadership, will further fuel our clients in their various growth initiatives,” said Ed Swenson, COO of Dynasty Financial Partners, in a statement. “At a time when many firms might be pulling back or moving to be more defensive, Dynasty is growing its resources to help our clients win disproportionally going forward.”

Harris joins Dynasty from UBS Investment Bank, where he was an executive director in the company’s financial institutions group for nearly a decade.

While there, he originated, led and executed over $5 billion of strategic M&A and capital market transactions for companies in the asset and wealth management industry.

Prior to that, Baltch worked for PricewaterhouseCoopers’ banking and capital markets group. He has over 15 years of financial services experience.
