Former Carson CMO Lands at FiComm

FiComm has hired Mary Kate Gulick as its new executive vice president of marketing.

Mary Kate Gulick, who stepped down from her role as chief marketing officer at Carson Group in June, has joined FiComm Partners, a marketing agency specializing in the wealth management industry, as its new executive vice president of marketing.

Gulick has more than 15 years of experience in financial marketing and communications. Prior to joining Carson in 2021, she served as a director, digital and content marketing and senior manager of brand and creative with TD Ameritrade Institutional. She left TDAI in October 2020 after the merger of TD Ameritrade and Charles Schwab. Prior to that, she also served as marketing operations manager/creative director at IBM.

In 2022, Gulick won a WealthManagement.com Industry Award for CMO of the Year. She’s also a finalist this year for Innovator of the Year.

She's also been an integral part of Carson's Excell Represent, a community-building event for women in the wealth management industry.

FiComm, co-founded in 2012 by CEO Megan Carpenter, is a majority women-owned business, and provides marketing, public relations, creative, digital services, and advisor growth coaching. The firm has grown its revenue 27% year-over-year.

“The team has a stellar reputation for creating real growth and results for clients,” said Gulick, in a statement. “But what’s even more important to me is their track record pushing toward real transformation in the financial services industry.”
