Introduction - Download the Report

While emerging market stocks have become a staple in many investors’ portfolios, they often make up a relatively small slice of an investor’s overall allocation.  That situation may be changing, however, as financial advisors and their clients increasingly are seeing more opportunities in the region.

However, investing in emerging markets can be more difficult than investing in major developed markets, where information on investments tends to be more reliable and transparent. As a result, financial advisors often rely on partners such as asset management firms and independent research firms to provide critical securities data and other information to make investment decisions in emerging markets.

Recently, Wealth Management and Informa Engage surveyed financial analysts on behalf of Matthews Asia to gain a better understanding of how they view emerging markets equities, how they’re using them in client portfolios, and where they seek out quality information about these unique investment opportunities.
