Got a specific question?

Jan 4, 2006 8:28 pm

No,  this is part of my attempt to reclaim this board.  Got sick of the jones crap.

Although, I'll be looking forward to hearing about how Gorman handles the situation when he arrives.

Mack is in.  Gorman is coming.  Morale is the highest I've seen in the four years I've been there.  I'm looking forward to 2006.

I have to say getting rid of a lot of deadwood and the big Dean Witter days producers that took this excuse to take a check elsewhere has improved morale.

Well, I can't imagine how anyone could take issue with that well thought out and thoroughly supported comment from this  erudite poster.  <?:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />

He was obviously so focused on using an asterisk, he neglected the use of the letter I in his delicately chosen adjective.

Now would such a lousy firm take out people to strip clubs, I think not.

I have to say, at first I thought this poster was a playful prankster, but after further consideration of the penetrating analysis he’s presented, and in such a cogent manner, I’m persuaded to rethink his opinion. The guy should run for political office, he’s just that dynamic.

As an aside…what is MDW?

Jan 10, 2006 12:46 am

Shorthand for Morgan Stanley.  (from Morgan Stanley / Dean Whitter).

The stock symbol is MWD.  I’m guessing that’s where they were going with the MDW.
