I pulled up my pay statement for 12/15 today and found a problem. You know how they subtract the draw from your commission, but then add it back on?? Well they didn’t add it back on to my pay. I called HR and got the run around and then got transferred to someone else and they are checking on it and calling me back in the morning.
We were just talking about this today! I knew that we got paid in “a-fronts” for the draw, and wondered how they were going to switch us to being paid in “a-rears”. I searched on SS and couldn’t find any mention of it. I called my compensation person and she never returned my call.
This fits right into the character of these people. Take $1,972 out of my pay check and don't even give me a courtesy notice. Hit me with a flat 25% tax and make it a afterthought at the end of a branch brief. Take 20% of my pay away for CAAP accounts and slip it in through a vague email. I love my company. I love my company. I love my company.... And before all of you "just quit then" people come out of your perches, I will be doing it soon.False Alarm! They are screwing us plenty of ways, but not this one. I just logged onto HR online and checked my paycheck and the draw is in there.
I thought they had to pay in advance on the draw to avoid overtime rules. If they do this I am going to tell these MFers to stick… wait, many of us have said this and are still here.
Doesn’t mean they won’t do it to us in January like they are doing to the assistants, but they didn’t do it to me in December.
