Has anyone heard about changes (i.e., layoffs) on the horizon for UBS NFAs?  My specific situation is that I’m just coming up on 1 year, in 2nd quintile for net new assets (around $5 Million), but lagging in production (wrap accounts).

I've been told by management that I have nothing to worry about since my NNA numbers are okay, but the Merrill situation has got me wondering.     Thanks for any thoughts.

UBS just BEGUN cost cutting mode.  Fact is that one day the upper mgmt may tell the BOM  to get rid of some CSA's or NFA's. Are you level 3 or 4 in production?

Either way, I would at the very least keep your options open in the event you get a call to the principal's office.
