I think all of the major investment firms have lost their identity. Way back when you had 30 - 40 offices accross the country. A handful of upper management, and a sales manager in the office that actually had control and power and ideas. In an effort to take over the world these large institutions have gotten really sloppy and complicated. Most producers I know who have been around for 20 + years are disgusted with the current environment. Not much fun anymore, and competitive incomes and good client relationships are the only things that keep them going. I truly think Mccann would like to turn back time…in ways. we’ll see…
