We were excited to be one of the offices being sold to Stifel.  We went to the St. Louis welcoming get together.  Heard the deal would be closed the first part of July.  Then we get notice it would be August.  Now we hear maybe October!  In the meaqn time UBS is bleeding us dry just because they can. What’s the deal?  Are these people just as inept as UBS?  They have us contractually until Decemeber, after that there are a number of us thinking about looking elsewhere if things don’t improve fast.  Anybody know anything?

  Thank in advance.

Back office is gearing up for the transition(s). I have a broker candidate that must decide to make his move late August or mid-October, because of the Home Office commitment to the transition of the UBS folks during the Sept. time frame. Be patient, it will be worth the wait. In spite of the market, I haven’t enjoyed the biz this much in a few years. It’s actually fun again.
