I'm still pretty nieve on the blog scene, but I'd say that it won't have too great an impact.  With all the crap in the headlines and on national news (which I'm sure has a much bigger following that blogs) about various firms over the last 5 years; brokerages are still having growing profits every year.   A drop in the bucket if you ask me.
