Research at Indy firms

For all of you Indy guys out there…
What do you use for research for individual stocks? And for MFunds? Dont fall out of your chair, but I still do a good amount of transaction production and am afraid that the research I am used to would be lost if I do go Indy. Also, are there any sort of conference calls that you can subscribe to...ie morning calls...or do some of the Indy firms (esp. LPL) offer anything like that? I am very used to starting my morning listening to someone on a conf. call talk about the markets/upgrades, etc rather than all of the "fluff" on CNBC or FOXBusin.I subscribe to ValueLine & Morningstar. My BD clears through Bear Stearns, so their research is available to me as well.
I primarily use S&P. LPL also gives me easy access to Zacks and CS First Boston, among others. I also subscribe to Dorsey-Wright.
Morningstar, S&P & Zacks. I canned CSFB as it cost almost what the other three combined did and as near as I could tell, the research wasn’t a bit better (and the coverage was too narrow). I can now tell clients that the research firms I use don’t have investment banking conflicts that color their opinions.

hmph…I don’t really use CSFB that much…and I’ve found their very long reports rather tiresome reading. Guess I’ll have to take a look at my monthly subscription bill…
I use Edward Jones research for the best way to screw your employees out of everything, as far as investments go…S&P, Zacks and Lehman.
