I think it’s a part of Securian, for whatever that’s worth.  Try looking Securian up.

Yes, they are a decent sized firm here in the STL area.  The advisors who work there seem to believe they are superior to everyone else.  I get the impression that it is an old money type of place.  They’ve entrenched themselves here pretty well.  I’m not sure how they’re perceived outside of the immediate STL area. 

From what I’ve read, they tend to go after HNW - as if we all don’t want to, but it seems to be their focus. They have a smallish office here. I applied but didn’t hear back from the recruiter until after I started the recruiting process at another firm. The recruiter was still very nice to deal with.
