I got a call today from a recruiter who was trying to get me to meet with PNC Advisors. Don’t know much about them other than didn’t they buy Hilliard Lyons a while back? Anyone have any experience with PNC?

    Where are you located? Where was the position located?   Just interested to hear that they are looking. I know nothing of their platform,etc.

Frist off, they sure did buy Hilliard Lyons about 10 years back and last year after dealing with the bank Hilliard bought themselves back. 

  Secondly, don't ever listen to a recruiter as they work for whoever is trying to hire and not for you.  Do your own digging and seek out managers that you call yourself so that you are in control of the information and not having some recruiter tell you what you want to hear.  Remember they are nothing more than salesmen making cold calls to brokers trying to get someone to buy.   Thirdly,  STAY AWAY FROM PNC!!
