MWD Bonus for Growth-
19 RepliesJump to last post
Sounds good, something better than nothing.
MWD is probably giving away a weeks vacation to Hawaii for opening up an account over $50,000.........
MWD is giving 20% extra in stock to brokers who grow thier production next year. For example if you do 100,000 more next year then you get 20k in stock. God help the client’s. Thier is going to be a churn feast!
Perfect.. This site is so useful sometimes. I have a client with about $700K at MWD who is almost about to come over.. That bit of info may be enough to get the ACATs on the move.
I can see it now- " Mr CLient, your portfolio has been doing well, and we havent made any changes in the past 2 years. But now that its the start of 2006, we feel we may need to reallocate your investments into more appropriate allocation and investment vehicles. You know, we want to make sure your account is well positioned in this difficult market ( and I need to get my stock bonus)."
Ah, it is what it is.......
I think the bonus should have been tied to new asets and not growth in gross. Big mistake.
The bonus also requires positive asset flows, not simply growth in production. Secondly the bonus is tied to growth over and above the global average. One will not be able to churn accounts to generate the 10 percentage points necessary to qualify for the bonus.
Blarm - A true opportunist!!!
You know if Gorman is at MWD, he will tie perks to net new money.
"Blarm - A true opportunist!!! "
Always, we have to be in order to excel. Am holding out on calling this porspect until I get concrete info on this new campaign ( have a buddy at MWD who is getting me the hard copy). As for fair competition, I will simply convey to the pro this new strategy, give him my take, and let him conclude what he will.... ( Then push ACATs across the table..)..
Everyone have a great weekend. As for me, I am on my way to Newport Beach to drink Jack and Coke and chase skirts.....

Ugh, a true redneck drink. I'm afraid you've dropped a notch or two in my eyes
Mikey- I love the Jack… Good ol New York ‘trash’ and I love it… It tastes so good when it hits your lips… I love Jack… jack Jack Jack, watch it go down, down into my belly…
Frum-
That quote was taken from Anchorman- Legend of Ron Burgundy. Hilarious movie in my opinion- some great lines in that one.

Thank God. For a second I thought you were hitting on all us.
I haven't seen a movie in almost 10 years. Sorry. But my favorite quote of all time is...

Huh, Ron was talking about a real man's drink, Scotch .
Ron, what did the bad man do?
" I hit him with a burrito and then he punted Baxter over the bridge!"
Ron, where are you?
"I am in a glass cage of emotion!"
For good laughs this weekend I suggest everyone grab a few beers and watch this movie- HILARIOUS.....
