Hey everyone, I just recently hired onto MS for their FAA program but recently looked into an indy firm called: Fisher Investments, located out of Northern California and Washington. I was told that this firm hires on FAs and pays them a regular salary to manage books of business that are issued to them through the firm. Does anyone here have any insight on this? I appreciate any advice concerning their salary structure, payout grid, managing books of business, etc. that anyone can offer me to help me make my decision about what I should do. Thanks in advance for the help.

Check out with Google, all the complaints from ex customers. They are a market timer firm, did poorly in 2008, you get nothing to manage - just suspect leads from direct mail campaign. They will not open accounts for anyone who works in a law office or has ever sued anyone…

I’ll make sure that I check them out. I appreciate your advice and figured there was more to it. I have done some research but after a telephone interview I was quite skeptical. Again, thanks for the advice.
