how long were you at a wirehouse and how much under assets? how is the transition
Would love to talk to you about your experiences going indie. Did you create an RIA or join one? Or did you move to an IBD? We like to do stories about moving to help others who are thinking about it. Please give a call, if you feel like talking about it. We can keep it confidential, if that's what you prefer.
Hey Kool-Aid,
Congratulations to you and best wishes. Should take David up on his offer; Registered Rep Magazine is going I feel a great job covering the Advisor to RIA phenomenon, RIA Custodians, etc., etc., Have a wonderful weekend!
"Indy" is the only way to fly!
The entire "non-indy" industry has essentially been taken over and is being run by propeller head bureaucrats. Soon non-indy's will have to have the brand of toilet paper and the color of their office wall paint approved by compliance.
Congrats on your move from corporate fascism to freedom!
Johhny Reb, that is funny, but true. The last place I was at, took the bathroom keys away from the reps. Had to ask to have the door unlocked by the bank staff. How f'n g@y huh?
The future is about freedom, not running with some flea infested herd.
