I predict, that this Friday we will be an Advisor’s version of D-Day.  We are six weeks into the new year and I think we are going to see a load of Advisor’s move, and here is why:

  1) Everyone has received their year end bonuses by now, if they received any.   2) It takes 5-6 weeks to prepare for a transition   3) It's the last 3 day weekend until Easter   4) Can the news at wire houses get any worse???   I figure since all the wire houses handed everyone a bottle of Vaseline for Christmas (Stocks are in the tank, new comp plans, managers leaving, bad news, etc, etc, etc....).  Anyone, looking to recover their net worth with an upfront check or just looking to get out and go independent.  Friday, February the 13th, would be the day.   Good luck and Don't walk under any ladders and avoid those pesky black cats.
