I read a couple of weeks ago that Ben was at deaths door with bone cancer.

Anyone have any news? He has been in my prayers. I left AG after he retired.   Thanks!

Here’s the link to the article in the St Louis Post Dispatch referencing the death of Ben Edwards.  It covers everything…his humility, integrity, betrayal by Bagby, opposition to the WS deal, and business ethics.  What a great guy!  Very well written.

I heard about this earlier, as a legacy AGE this is sad news. Stifel’s CEO Ron K. actually sent out a very nice email to the company recgnizing Ben’s passing and offered his thoughts and respect to him and his family, I thought that was a huge class act on Ron’s part.
