What can you tell me about this firm?
Pros? Cons?
Pros? They have good financial backing, at least a nice 1 bil sitting in cash. No Auction rate securities and subprime baggage. 5th or 4th largest in the nation. they have flexible platforms.
Cons? Culture, product, too micromanaged, unnecessary fees in their "independent" platform. 13k advisors means you're a small fish in a stinky large pond. Personally, I would never work for them.13k advisors means you’re a small fish in a stinky large pond.
Graphic image, kind of reminds me of how the whole industry must look to our clients right now. Except, they're the ones that are sucking air off the top, and we're rooting them on, all the while we're sucking pond water ourselves. Even as the mighty market shows early signs of heaving over, into a mode of panic buying ... enjoy the historical moment, boys and girls. If you have no experience, and nobody else will hire you, they will at lleast sponsor you for your licenses. Otherwise the place is the biggest, crappiest, bureaucratic place imaginable. Its an insurance company masquerading as a securities firm. If you wanna learn more check out AmeriprizeSucks.com.
