Is anyone familiar with this position?
I have some basic knowledge. Its a salary and bonus position, mostly salary. They have recently instituted a 3 year program where you work under a wealth manager who has an existing book. It is less prospecting and more client interaction. You will be managing everything from checking accounts to investments.
I am looking to move from a discount firm. This sounds like it might be worth looking into. Thanks Ron
They are looking for candidates to move to the West Coast to cover high net worth customers from WaMu.
Ok. I know they are hiring in the Chicago area, I am sure they are hiring in that area as well. A friend of mine is in the interview process for that position. I will post any new info I get.
What sort of qualifications are they looking for? My friend who has his 7 & 66 is looking to get in somewhere…
it seems like they want someone with experience managing a book of high networth clients. I am going to look into it to see if I can learn more. I will let you know what I find out.
It depends on the program, but I do not think a 7 is necessary. The position is like a Personal Banker for high net worth clients so the investment choices are set in place already. What sort of qualifications are they looking for? My friend who has his 7 & 66 is looking to get in somewhere…
Why am I not supprised one size fits all!
X amount in our investment here, Y amount in our investment there, Z amount in our investment over there. Welcome to the wire house world of investing and taking care of the firm and then the rep, and maybe the client.[quote=Greenbacks]Why am I not supprised one size fits all!

This position is solely to massage HNW clients who are too busy to pay bills, balance checkbook, get loans, monitor taxes etc. The investment piece is a very small part.
