I have no more questions it is obvious that non reps are not welcome here and will be forced off the site

don't care to have this happen to me.

have no more questions and will not post.

Anyone who isn't a rep, newbies, students: look at how people are treated on this site.  DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND DON'T POST HERE.

I have read thru threads and it might not happen at once but it will happen  to you.  Bobby Hall alread responded to my post and it's a matter of time when he will attack me too along with the others who do this.

No further questions no further posts

this is a hostile site that discourages others from going into this career field and from the looks of the type of people in this business, I have lost any and all interest of investigating this career field further.

CAUTION:  NONREPS:  DONT POST HERE

REPS: caution, if you do post, you will or may have to endure this bad treatment from the office cooler gang on this site.  Stay away if you know what's good for you.

I'm using my parachute and will rescue myself before it's too late.

DANGER - HOSTILE SITE: ENTER AT YOUR OWN RISK.

no further questions or interest in this career field.

Parachute,

I think I know what you mean.  I've been watching this board, and subscribing to the magazine, for about two years, and was just recently allowed membership (though, I think that is probably the fault of some spam blocker or firewall that may have been preventing the "welcome email".

I know a lot of people here are seasoned producers.  That's intimidating, because I am not a producer.  As far as the balance sheets (and my paycheck) are concerned, I haven't made a dime for my firm.  But, I am a "registered rep", and am interested in the content on this board, as well as the feedback from my peers.

Which brings me to ask...How many people on here are registered, but not producers?  All the frequent posters, it would appear, are FAs, CFPs, or in some way involved directly with sales and planning.  I work in compliance.  Have been with one of the big wirehouses for over three years, and have just accepted an offer with another one of the top players, which I should be transitioning to next month.

Anyone else here in a role other than direct advisory?  I can't compete with the AUM and 12 month trailing, but I know a thing or two about establishing 10b5-1 plans and 144 filings.  Am I the only one without a book?  Oh yeah, also, I don't play golf.  Not yet at least..

Excuse me: did you get "meanjoe" brkr the mob boss's approval to post here????

He's gonna get the Bobby-bing, bada-bang guy after you if you don't watch your step!

yeah...you probably figured it out.

They want to take over this business, too:  (they want it all!..even the water cooler business.)  The greedy little mobsters.

You guys are too funny.  Let the small # of negative people force
your hand.  You are on an internet site, always remember
that.  Sift through the spammers who have no life and are on here
posting garbage all day long.  I have made some good contacts here
and many people have been friendly and supportive.

You have a very thin skin and you would not make it in this business.

Forgive us if we ask you to follow the rules.  This is a site for "Registered Reps" and for new advisors.

You take things too seriously.  This can be a stressful career and some like to blow off steam.  Good thing you will not enter this business because you could never face the wrath and rejection some clients and prospects will give you daily.

You don't have your Series 7 license.  Do you have a driver's license?  You may want to apply with Good Humor.  Very few people reject the ice cream man.

Good luck.

Good Humor gets winters off as well.

Very true.  Hopefully he won't move south in the winter because then his blood will get thin too.
