Starting an RIA: Minimum net capital requirements in CA?

Hello All,

I've been browsing the site gaining knowledge and advice on how go about starting my own firm. What I've found in my study for the 65 is that there's z minimum net capital requirement the firm needs to have--35k for cudtody, 10k for discretion. I'm wondering how new firms navigate this requirement when starting from scratch?
