Any thoughts on what might happen in the indy/RIA world to NTF funds if 12b-1's get hammered around?  Right now most funds are NTF because the 12b-1 goes to the custodian.  If they are forced to disclose that, I'm not sure how that would go over.

Good point....This will probably mean higher costs for the independent FA since the NTF status may go away.
