Guys,

Looking to jump ship from a bank program that has been blown to pieces…stuck at 30% payout and lost my main referrer. I can no longer stand the BS that management feeds me every day.

Although I’ve been in the business less than 5 years, I’d like to go Indy and never take orders from anyone but my clients again. I’m not interested in taking a check and selling my soul at another wirehouse/bank.   After reading quite a bit on this forum, I’ve heard the good and bad about Ray J, Commonwealth, and LPL.

However, does anyone know anything about Investors Capital? I hear they have a smaller, friendlier atmosphere and they let you run your business the way you want. Also, I do quite a bit of fee based and they seem to have a good platform for that.

If any of you can provide me with feedback about ICC, it would be appreciated! Yes, I have seen the light and I want to get the f*ck out of here!

Omar:

The thing you have to know about going independent is how much revenue you are generating.  The more you generate, the better they treat you.  Have you considered opening your own firm?  It is the only way to be truly independent.   I have helped many advisors through this process and it is not as hard as it seems.  Send me an email or call if you are interested
