So we are at an indy BD now and looking to make a switch. Fact of the matter is that we will need some capital to continue our operation during this tremendously challenging time in the market. Does anyone have any info on solid indy firms that offer any sort of substantial transition package. I wish a capital contribution did not have to be a factor in our decision but we have no choice. Any info is appreciated.

It all depends on what you are trying to do. For advisors looking to go RIA, I have been able to negotiate transition costs from the major custodians. If you want some ideas on how you can lower some of your transition costs, send me a PM.
Good Luck.
