How many of you obtain assets via qualified plans, and how much service do you provide to the plan participants.  Has anyone had a good amount of success meeting with plan participants and doing individual planning.

 I do a fair amount. I use Schwab for my retirement plans and then charge an asset management fee. The sponsors like it because Schwab gives back on average 50% of the sub TA fees these can really add up in a plan. I meet with the participants about twice a year. The real money comes from the owners.

Exactly… I have set up a few 401K and DB plans… The actual controbutions wont make you rich, but it does provide a nive little monthly income streat. They key is getting in the door and then gaining access to the owners or other executives. From there you can potnetially branch off and manages their corporate cash, institute a NQ deferred comp plan, 529, etc, etc…
