Hey! 

New to this forum and wanted to say hi. I am an industry veteran (18 yrs.) after a devastating divorce. (don't get divorced in NJ, the judges will F#%k you any which way they can), moving my business from MSSB to another firm, I find myself in the position of having to rebuild my book of business while not from scratch I need to rebuild a significant portion. I came to this forum as I am going to need to be motivated from the outside alot to go back to cold calling for business. I also came to share and get good ideas on scripts and overcoming objections. 

I have read through a number of threads and see that alot of you are having success with cold calling. This is how I started out but have not done it consistently for a number of years. I hope to be active on this forum. Take care and good luck calling.
