How has been anyone’s experience with InfoUSA? They claim to have a updated business to business, and business to consumer list.

I have used them for a few years.  Very good service, excellent website and criteria-mining, and their lists have been very good.

Ok thanks. Hard to tell with all these list brokers. I use it for my other business, and it seems fairly in-depth.

One of the guys in my office had someone on his infousa list that was on the DNC and the list was supposedly “scrubbed.”  I’ve used them a little and never had a complaint but you might want to double check your names against DNC.

B24  - Are you using InfoUSA for Residential or Business numbers

I use it for both Res and Bus.

As an aside - you can easily get someone on a list that is on the DNC list if they recently signed up.  If it's just an occassional number, that's likely, if it's a whole lot of numbers - that's a problem.

I think you are pretty much covered since they are responsible for scrubbing the list.

Have you compared the InfoUSA to the Dun and Bradstreet list? I am just trying to figure out if InfoUSA is bullsh*tting on their list capabilities compared to others.

Side note: I have used them for 10 years for my other business, so they are solid in that respect.

I have never had a problem with DNC numbers.  Sometimes I use a list I bought 6 months ago, so things may get dated a bit.  But I have been very pleased with them.

They are great. price is reasonable, and the data is pretty accurate. DNC is a moving target anyway since the data on that is old when you get it and people can sign up when they like (plus firm scrubbers are also blocking you from existing clients and you don’t know if it’s standard DNC or a firm client DNC)

I spoke with them today, they are changing to a different name, Directory USA or something; the prices have gone up considerably.  I just moved from a bank back to a wire and want to look into them again.  Please PM me if you're using them currently, I would like to ask you the ins and outs. I used infousa two years ago at SB with good success-numbers were VERY accurate.

Is this the upgrade version of Reference USA?
