Anyone ever hear of anyone, ever,  who's had to "fess up" , err pay the huge fine as per a DNC viotion. Is it all bs?

Did they get a chance to say sorry, I'll never do that again?

Or am I the only who calls everyone, more for me...?; ( every three weeks I have to retort : " Oh , I'm sorry, we'll take you off the list pshh"

I think it depends on where you are and who you are calling..And how you treat them...

I know someone who got busted and had to provided proof he was downloading updated list of DNC every 30 days and/or using software...paid a fine..

But I am not sure how many violate so it is a bad sample (for example he is one of 2 people i know who did, so that means 50% get caught..but again small sample)..

I would think it would be worse during times with political calls like now..

dashover, my experience in dealing with firms, is that if trouble comes, they'd throw you under the bus. Nobody will care all that much, until something happens. If a complaint is lodged, an investigation will be done. If you were deemed not just out of compliance, but sloppy, along with willfully out of compliance, you'll be shown the door and made an example of. In this biz, don't ever cross the line... You are over the line right now, and you sense that.
